As the third largest youth association in Switzerland, Cevi has over 13,000 members in more than 200 local clubs. Every year, over 80 training courses and almost 300 camps are organised.
As a Christian and internationally oriented youth movement, promoting leadership and empowering people is central to all activities of Cevi Switzerland. Cevi Switzerland is part of the European and worldwide Cevi associations YMCA and YWCA with a total of 70 million members.
Cevi Switzerland comprises 12 member organisations: 7 regional associations and 5 areas of activity. Children and young people are primarily active in the regional associations. In the Jungschar, children experience outdoor adventures under the expert guidance of young volunteer leaders: camping, pioneering techniques, theatre games, orienteering or creative design. In addition, Ten Sing turns young people into singers and comedians, musicians and rappers, stage builders and presenters. The diverse range of sports activities is also an important pillar of the organisation.
The areas of activity of Cevi Switzerland are specialised in specific topics, socially oriented and diverse: international cooperation, mountain tours, play and learning areas for children in socially disadvantaged neighbourhoods, and much more.
